How to be safe online

To sum it up, this Beginners Guide about key loggers will show you how to avoid and defeat these annoying and potentially embarrassing attacks on your computer, starting with seven preventative measures;

  1. Use common sense
  2. Use and update an anti-virus program regularly
  3. Use antivirus 'auto protection'
  4. Keep an anti-hijack 'toolkit' for emergencies
  5. Change your Internet Explorer security settings
  6. Try an alternate browser
When you think or suspected that your computer is infected or misbehaving. Do not panic and do not do something silly. Cam down, and make sure you can remember exartly what happens. This will help the technician to solve the problem with out delay.
Know if you have downloaded and installed a program before the problem, did you add a new hardware etc.
