Samsung Galaxy S3 Sudden Death Syndrome

I don't if any of you guys aware or heard of this? I replaced my HTC windows phone with a Samsung Galaxy S3 (so many people here just badmouth anything that has no "i" in front of its name, I didnt want to be one of them) to see how this thing really performs.

I was using this phone from June last year to this month. Today it just went off and wouldn't boot up again. I tried all possible options available to me as an certified IT Professional and nothing works. Contacted Samsung and they've asked me to contact their branch in the United Kingdom. Of course I sent an email to Samsung branch in the UK as there was not instant chat avaialble to their UK site at the time of writing this blog. Samsng USA agent I chat with only sympathise with me and that was it. Is so sad and dissapointing to see a newly device just failing like that.

I believe that it might be something to do with either the system board or the operating system, whichever the reason maybe. This shouldnt have happend in the first place. I love Samsung and I was praising their devices. Some of my friendss where switching to start using Samsung because I was telling them Samsung Galaxy is far better than the Apple iPhone but I guss I maybe mistaken.
Now my friends are laughing at me about this Sudden Death! My friend was laughing at me, for paying twice what he did, to evenutally get less functionality... but who is laughing now?
Apparently Samsung Galaxy S3s are dying left and right and everywhere! Nobody knows why or what is actually causing this problem so far... the only thing you can do is just to bring it back to samsung and have it exchanged, or take it specialist smartphones repairers . Which of course is no problem, while you still have guarantee on your phone, but what if the one year has already passed? How functional is your dead Samsung Galaxy S3 then???
So maybe some of my friends are right: Yes, you pay twice the price, no, it won't do all the things Android phones have been doing for a while now... BUT GUESS WHAT: It won't just die on!

Here is a Quote

There has been a common issues with many Samsung Galaxy S3 devices around the world that has started to bother a lot of people. The problems is this: Galaxy S3 suddenly dies and doesn’t turn on again until you take it to be repaired or send it back to Samsung.

All around the world people are bringing their devices in service because their Samsung Galaxy S3 device will not turn on again. This problem has been named as a “sudden death” for Galaxy S3. It’s like the phone is “committing suicide” out of nowhere. The issue with this problem is the fact that it doesn’t have a common pattern. The Galaxy S3 dies after charging, during charging over night, after turning the screen off it will not turn on again. As far as I can see it is a pretty scary problem.

The most common situation with the Galaxy S3 dying is when charging the phone over night. When you try to turn on the screen, it will not respond. You will not be able to turn on the phone with the power button. Pulling the battery off and on again also doesn’t help. It seems that the only resolution for this problem is to take your phone to be repaired in a specialized store.

The good thing for this, is that Samsung is responding well to this issue, meaning that they repair all the phones that are brought to them with this problem, or more likely they will give you a new one.
There is no official statement regarding this issue, but seeing how more and more Galaxy S3 owners are complaining about this, we can conclude that there are some real hardware issues with the Samsng Galaxy S3 Smartphone devices.
This blog is no way related to the samsung official website.

  2. Thanks for following and my apology for late reply.

-First check your volume and see if your device sound is on mute or not
-Has your phone been dropped or have used a headset or not.
-If you not a technician, I will advice you to take it to cell phone repairer, Samsung if it still on warranty or speak to your insurance i.e if your phone have a insurance.

Please do not try repairing it yourself if you do not know what you are doing.

Try the simple troubleshooting I mentioned above first. We are based in the United States Georgia and we can fix it for at low fee.
